Ventura Rodríguez Tizón, eighteenth-century Spanish architecture, Convento de la Asunción de Almagro, Iglesia parroquial de San Vicente de Alcántara, Rivas, Iglesia de la Encarnación in Madrid, Capilla de San Narciso in GeronaAbstract
This article looks at several previously unknown drawings by the architect Ventura Rodríguez found between 2017 and 2022, and missing from the architect’s previous graphic work as published in 2017. As such, this find fleshes out our overall idea of the architect’s lifework. This study bears out a longstanding hypothesis about the monument dealt with in one of his drawings and also helps to substantiate the attribution to him of the design of a chapel in Gerona.
